How it Works
Requirements and Conditions
Daily Raids are a benefit for contributors, so you must have a contributors' account in order to fight the bosses.
You can see all differences between a contributor and a free account here.
Contributors can make as many raids as they want, but only the first raid of the day will be free. The remaining raid passes have to be bought with in-game cash.
If you can afford, you can pay 150k to the NPC Raid Fugleman, which is at every raid location, by asking 'buy raid pass', 'yes', to fight another raid at the same day.
It is not required to have 4 players to start a raid. It is a minimum of one player, and a maximum of 4 players per raid.
At the image below, you can see myself starting a raid level 80+, the First Tier Raid.
There are 3 bosses for each raid tier, as you can see here.
3 Bosses on Third Tier Raid (Level 80+)
3 Bosses on Second Tier Raid (Level 140+)
3 Bosses on First Tier Raid (Level 200+)
When you start a raid, you will face a random boss between the 3 available to that raid level.
If you win the raid, you will have a chance to receive a reward.
You can check here the rewards to all three raid tiers.
To clarify even more, here are the exact chances to receive each kind of reward:
Very Usual - 16%
Usual - 12%
Medium - 9%
Hard - 4%
Rare - 2%
Very Rare - 0.5%
That said, you will get atleast one reward 43% of the time, and 57% of the time you will walk with no prize at all.
The upgrade hammers are used to upgrade your items stats, such as attack of your weapon (melee), defense of your shield, armor of your helmet, armor and legs. bows and crossbows are not upgradeable.
Each time you use it on an equipment, it has a chance to upgrade your item in +1 stat (armor, attack, defense). If it fails, there is no chance to break your item or to lose any stat you've already got.
As you can see, in order to upgrade your item more than +3 stats, you will need a 2nd tier upgrade hammer or a 1st tier upgrade hammer. A 3rd tier upgrade hammer will not work for this.
At the same way, to upgrade an item more than +6, you will need to use a 1st tier upgrade hammer.
Chances of Upgrading
Again, as you can see, the chances decrease as the stats increase, from 100% chance to upgrade to +1 stat, to 10% chance to upgrade to +10 stats.
